Transport and Parking

Bentley Heath School is part of the Solihull ‘Safe Routes to School’ project and so we like to encourage both children and parents to walk to and from school whenever possible.  Parents who have to deliver or collect children by car are asked to exercise the utmost care at these very busy times and we would therefore ask you to observe the following guidelines: -

• Please do not drive down or park in Widney Close.  This is a very narrow road and access must be kept clear for residents and emergency vehicles at all times.  Please use the car park adjacent to Bentley Heath park, and make use of the crossing patrol.
• When using the Moorfield Avenue entrance please park safely and sensibly.  The yellow road markings and zigzag lines indicate a no-parking area and are there to help ensure the safety of children crossing the road at this point.  There really cannot be any exceptions, even ‘dropping off' on and opposite to thesemarkings presents a potential hazard to pedestrians.

The School car park is for the use of staff only, parents should park in the car park on Widney Road when visiting the school or dropping off or collecting their children.
