School Meals
At lunchtime a choice of either meals prepared on the premises, or sandwiches brought from home, are available to the children. There is a varied cooked menu and a daily choice of main course and sweet. Packed lunches are eaten in the hall at the same time as children having school meals. Please ensure that lunchboxes and containers are non-breakable and clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Meals are paid for weekly on Monday morning or alternatively may be paid termly or half-termly in advance at a discounted price. Payment is by cash or cheque, (payable to SMBC), or on-line.
Children whose families are in receipt of either Income support, Child Tax Credit (Income Related) or Jobseeker’s Allowance (Income Based) may be eligible for Free School Meals. If you feel that you may be entitled to apply for free school meals for your child, please contact School Office staff for the relevant forms.
One week's notice is required for children to change from lunches provided from home to school produced meals, or vice versa.
