Building a Better and Safer Environment for your Community Fund

Central Networks is committed to working with the communities it serves and building better and safer environments across central England. To help to do this, they have a fund to support community projects that will have a positive and lasting impact on their local environment. The fund is open to all local community groups and not for profit organisations with their own bank account located in the Central Networks distribution region. The availability of grants from this fund was brought to our attention by one of our parents who works for E-on, and he has also bid for their match fundraising scheme which could provide another £250.00 for the school.  Please ask your employer if there are any similar schemes available where you work.  This sort of grant or scheme can provide a boost to the school's income for very little effort, but it allow us to undertake projects that would otherwise be out of reach.

The work has now been completed and the Conservation Area is accessible and safe for the children to use again.  See the photographs below taken before the work and click this link to see the Conservation Area now, after the work has been completed.

The following photographs were taken after the work was completed - we are very grateful to E-on for this grant from their Safer Environment Fund that has enabled us to undertake this project.
